The CMD Colorado Mountain Dog™ is becoming a breed through careful selection of dogs from multiple lines and breed types who were observed working with livestock and maintaining friendly relationships with humans .
Our goal is to properly keep the ancient bred tenacity to ward off predators and guard their charges while making sure your visitors and neighbors (or mailman) are not being harassed by the typical LGD who doesn't want any-thing or any person near their flocks/herds.
The Colorado Mountain Dog™ -Registry Association is here to aid any one in finding a breeder that will work for them as well as keeping support and morale up for the breeders themselves.
